Using cutting-edge CPU technology, market-leading industrial Ethernet networking technology and a unique user interface, the RXi controller is the only control system in the industry.
PACSystems RXi controllers are based on PROFINET and offer device manufacturers and end users a compact solution with highly flexible distributed I/O capabilities. Its unique smart display module provides configuration and maintenance functions for the controller without the need for additional software. As a PACSystems controller, RXi is fully compatible with applications written for other PACsystems platforms. This results in a high-performance solution for distributed IO applications.
High performance
The RXi controller is designed for high-performance distributed IO applications. With high-performance dual-core CPU as well as gigabit PROFINET (built-in MRP redundancy) and Ethernet ports, every aspect of RXi is fully considered for improved performance.
In addition, the RXi controller can be used with the RXi Modular IPC to provide a unique control and computing platform for the plant floor. Integrated high-speed connectors allow instant data processing. Operator ease of use can be increased by pairing the RXi modular IPC with the new RXi panel display with new multi-touch technology.
The unique combination of high-performance control, integrated PROFINET, smart display modules and compact form factor sets the RXi controller apart from its peers.
Longer uptime
Systems with a distributed architecture are easier to configure and maintain. In addition, RXi components are industrial temperature grade and combine patented thermal monitoring technology with advanced passive cooling technology to provide reliable control in harsh environments.
Lower Total Cost of Ownership RXi’s compact control and computing platform allows users to simplify panel design and reduce the overall size of panels, while offering the high performance, easy maintenance and upgradeability benefits of the PACSystems platform.
