家用电梯是指安装在私人住宅中，仅供单一家庭成员使用的电梯。它也可以安装在非单一家庭使用的 建筑物内，作为单一家庭进入其住所的工具，但是建筑物内的公众或其他居住者无法进入和使用。家用电梯 额定速度不超过0.4m/s,对于无轿门的家用电梯额定速度不超过0.3m/s,轿厢行程不超过12m,额定载重量不大 于400KG。主要分为曳引电梯，螺杆电梯，液压电梯几种结构。
